The 17-cm-high ALERGIK mattress contains 5 layers of natural plant-based materials. It consists of a 3-later core made from a reinforced layer of coir and 2 layers of natural rubber, surrounded by 2 layers of carded 100% cotton. The Johann Malle ALERGIK mattress is ideal for lasting everyday use or as a universal medical and orthopaedic mattress. No materials of animal origin are used to make this mattress. The ALERGIK mattress is one of our bestselling mattresses for children. Coir increases the rigidity of the mattress while maintaining high breathability. Natural rubber is not only highly elastic and airy, but is also hypoallergenic, antibacterial and resistant to dust and mites. Cotton is pleasant to the touch, perfectly absorbs moisture, is soft yet very firm, and is also naturally hypoallergenic - it does not irritate the skin or cause allergic reactions. The cover of the ALERGIK mattress is made from 100% twill-woven cotton, with no chemical treatment.
